What information will I need to provide for the background check?
All information provided on the Shasmi Beauty background check application must be consistent and verifiable. You will be asked to provide verifiable information about where your home-based business is located. Your home-based business might be asked to provide additional information including, but not limited to, your Social Security number, driver’s license.
If we can not verify your information then we will need 2 forms of the following:
Utility bill with your name on listed, social security card, government-issued picture ID, passport, work visa, that includes your current address.
Why does Shasmi Beauty require a background check?
Since independent agents may handle or have in their possession sensitive information on behalf of Shasmi Beauty representing our brand name we require a background check that is an important factor for our company, and is routine in the work-from-home industry. The background check is only required of independent agents is applying and registering to provide services and the non-refundable fee is paid by the applicant.
How long does the application process take?
The application process, including the background check, typically takes up to 48 hrs.
How long does it take to complete training modules to start working a position?
Certification time varies for each opportunity, but most agents complete new agent onboarding within 3 – 5 days.
Is the application process secure? What do you do with my personal information?
Absolutely it’s secure! We hold information provided by applicants on a secure server that our HR Manager has access to only. By submitting an application with Shasmi Beauty, you are consenting to allow Shasmi Beauty to share your information with our third party company for the sole purpose of conducting a background check screening. Shasmi Beauty will not sell or share your personal information with third parties for any other purpose without your consent.
Is there an age requirement?
Independent agents providing services to Shasmi Beauty must be 18 years of age or older.
Do I have to be a legal resident of the United States?
Yes.
Do I have to work from my home?
No. Independent agents can work from any location that meets the requirements for the opportunity they select. This includes a quiet location with no background noise, lab top and/or wired computer connection. Shasmi Beauty does not provide office space for independent agents. Agents are responsible for choosing and maintaining a location that meets their business requirements.
