Preparation – What you should do before applying mascara

Before applying mascara, use a clean toothbrush to comb your eyelashes. You can also use the applicator of an old mascara tube that you have cleaned from any residues.
By applying baby powder before using mascara, you can add more volume to your lashes and make them look more expressive.
In case your mascara tends to be clumpy, put the tube in a glass of warm water. This way the formula will become more liquid and easier to apply. With this trick you will also get the rest out of the tube when your mascara is almost empty.
Use an eyelash curler after warming it up with a hair dryer. Not only will it be easier to curl the lashes, but you’ll also get a more expressive curl that lasts longer.

Start with the application close to the lash line, so that every single lash becomes more stable at the bottom.

Once the mascara has dried you can declump if necessary by combing through your lashes again with the clean toothbrush or an old mascara applicator.
